Business Confidence and Expectations Survey 2012
Published: Friday January 13th, 2012
As part of our continuing efforts to obtain and analyse data on domestic economic activity and business conditions, the Central Bank is relaunching its quarterly Business Confidence and Expectations survey in 2012. Once consolidated and assessed, the survey data will offer stakeholders in both the private and government sectors with current as well as anticipated trends in private sector activity, to supplement the information which the Bank already collects on various sectors of the economy. This data is expected to prove vital for all stakeholders, in assessing the overall performance of the domestic economy.
In this regard, you are kindly invited to review, complete and submit the attached survey, which features questions tailored to ascertain your views on the current business and economic environment and your expectations of future trends. Ideally, these assessments should be provided by the Chief Executive Officer or another senior official, who has knowledge of your business operations. Further, in an effort to obtain the maximum number of responses, all companies which submit their completed questionnaires will receive electronic copies of the completed report, as soon as it is made available to the public.
Please be assured that the Central Bank will only publish consolidated results, and will treat individual responses confidentially.
Questions about the survey, as well as completed forms, should be sent to:
Mrs. Latoya Smith, Sr. Research Officer (Tel: 302-2703), [email protected]
A copy of the survey may be downloaded from one of the links below. Companies are asked to use the version which corresponds to the sector in which they operate.
The deadline for submitting completed forms is January 25, 2012
