Request for Proposal for Application Control Solution

This request for proposal (RFP) is being issued by the Central Bank of The Bahamas (hereinafter referred to as the Bank), inviting technical and commercial proposals from qualified firms to provide an application control solution. The requested solution is aimed to prevent malicious and/or unauthorized software and files from being installed, accessed and/or executed on corporate devices. i.e., laptops, desktops and servers comprising physical and virtual devices. This request for proposal (RFP) states the overall scope of the initiative, current technology used, outcomes desired, as well as desired vendor qualifications, bid criteria and evaluation process.
The overall goal of this project is to:
- Mitigate security risks associated with unauthorized software.
- Monitor, audit, and track application activities for compliance and non-repudiation.
- Enhance operational efficiency by streamlining software installation requests and approvals.
Any decision to award a proposing firm shall be based on the demonstrated ability to understand and deliver the services desired by the Bank. Other factors that shall contribute to the selection of a proposing firm include but are not limited to, price, accessibility, and a proven record of accomplishment in delivering the requested solution.
