Central Bank of The Bahamas Summer Employment Programme 2025
The Central Bank of The Bahamas invites interested candidates to submit applications for the Summer Internship Programme by submitting resumes to our Human Resources email address ([email protected]). The Programme will be held over the period 2nd June 2025 - 25th July 2025.
A selected group of students will have the unique opportunity to participate in a policy and research- focused seminar, guided and mentored by senior Central Bank officials. This specialized research project will immerse students in a stimulating experience where they may research approved economics, banking or finance topics; refine their research techniques; then write and present a research paper at a Summer Intern Research Roundtable. Interns will also engage in informative discussions and have the opportunity to partake in assignments in core operations. Additionally, there are opportunities for some students to work on operational projects in accounting, banking, currency, exchange control, information technology, or information security, gaining an equally valuable experience with hands-on tasks and responsibilities.
Applicants must submit their most recent transcript and a resume outlining the degree and area of study being pursued. For the research seminar component, consideration will only be given to third or fourth- year university students pursuing Economics, Finance, Public Policy, Mathematics and/or Statistics. Candidates must identify the year of college they are entering. Students across all undergraduate levels are open to apply for the operational projects.
The application deadline is 11th April 2025. The Human Resources Department will contact shortlisted candidates only. Selected candidates will be provided with the necessary details to assist in the onboarding process.
