Central Bank of The Bahamas Urban Planning and Architectural Design Competition Request for Qualifications (RFQ)
Published: Friday January 12th, 2018
The Central Bank of The Bahamas (the Bank) has embarked on a project to construct a new facility, and, as a first step, the Bank has been charged with identifying an appropriate location for the Bank in the city of Nassau. The Bank, therefore, proposes to conduct a design competition inviting architects to present their ideas on where the new Bank could be located, prepare concept drawings for the exterior of the Bank, and develop a concept for the area around the Bank that will be demarcated by a plan to be provided to the Competition’s participants.
The Competition is open to all architects registered by the Professional Architects Board that are in good standing.
The RFQs will be available for collection from Monday, January 15, 2018, at the Market Street entrance of the Central Bank of The Bahamas. Completed applications are to be returned at the same entrance (Market Street) by or before 5 p.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2018, together with the requested documents. Applications received after this deadline, shall NOT be taken into consideration.
