Press Release

6th Annual Bahamas Research Conference on Financial Crime

The Central Bank of The Bahamas (“the Central Bank”) is excited to announce that registration is now open for the sixth iteration of the Annual Bahamas Research Conference on Financial Crime scheduled to be held on 16-17 January 2025 at the Margaritaville Beach Resort in Nassau, The Bahamas. As the conference enters its sixth year, it has established itself as the leading event of its kind; showcasing high-quality research undertaken within the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) space.

The conference will feature a dynamic line-up of both local and international presenters covering a range of topical and emerging issues in AML and financial crime.

We are pleased to advise that the Inter-American Development Bank (“IDB”) has once again partnered with the Central Bank as a co-sponsor to provide translation services.

The Conference is open to both in-person and online attendees. While in-person attendance is limited, unlimited virtual participation is available, so be sure to register early. Registration is free.
