Central Bank Appoints New Deputy Inspector

The Central Bank announces the appointment of Ms. Karen V. Rolle as Deputy Inspector of Banks & Trust Companies and Supervised Licensed Institutions, with effect from June 1st, 2018. In this role, and in conjunction with the Inspector, Mr. Charles Littrell, Ms. Rolle will lead the Central Bank’s supervision of financial institutions. Ms. Rolle has 24 years of experience with the Central Bank, most recently as Manager of the Bank Supervision Department. She is a member of the Central Bank’s Monetary Policy Committee and Policy Advisory Committee. She has represented the Central Bank internationally in many forums, and she is currently the Deputy Chair of the Caribbean Group of Banking Supervisors.
As to her academic background, Ms. Rolle is an Alumnus of the Florida Memorial College, Miami Florida. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting and an MBA with a concentration in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University, Ft Lauderdale Florida.
In making this appointment, Governor John Rolle noted: “Karen Rolle is among our most senior and accomplished leaders, and both the Central Bank and the industry will greatly benefit from her appointment as Deputy Inspector.”
