CENTRAL BANK ANNOUNCES WINNING DESIGN FOR NEW CENTRAL BANK BUILDING

The Central Bank of The Bahamas invites you to a press conference on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 1 pm to announce the winners of the "Nassau Reimaged" Design Competition, and plans for the construction of the new bank. The Governor of the Central Bank will be in attendance, as will the winners and other competitors.

Judging The main judging for the competition has been by a jury of five (5) with expertise from the fields of Architecture, Urban Planning, Engineering, Fine Arts, Culture, Commerce, Education, and Anthropology. Jurists have committed to three full days in closed session, prior to which they have individually assessed the presentation boards and design briefs. The jury judging has taken place without prior knowledge of the results of the People’s Choice Competition.
