"Aerial View of The Islands Of The Bahamas" $10 Silver Proof Coin 2014

On March 3, 2015, the Central Bank of The Bahamas will introduce its Aerial View of the Islands of The Bahamas $10 Silver Proof coin, the first in a four-year series of five (5) collectors’ coins celebrating the uniqueness of the Islands of The Bahamas.

The reverse of this beautiful coin features an aerial view of the Islands of The Bahamas from space, framed with a partial circumferential inscription 10 DOLLARS. Innovative colour technology has been applied to showcase the contrasting depths of ocean waters surrounding the Islands. The obverse of the coin features the Coat of Arms of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, along with the date 2014.
