Results of the June 2016 Survey of Retail Banking Charges in The Bahamas

The Central Bank administered its semi-annual survey of retail bank fees in June 2016, in order to determine the different types of charges incurred by residents for their various products and services. This exercise, which has been conducted over the past six years, forms part of the Bank’s ongoing efforts to obtain more disaggregated data on the domestic banking sector, and the information presented in the accompanying tables shows the maximum, minimum and average fee charged for the periods, December 2015 and June 2016.
